Yiğit Karagöz is a film director focused on creating iconic scenes that stay with the audience. With a background in design, he approaches filmmaking through structure, rhythm, and visual control, using aesthetics as a narrative tool rather than decoration. 

Having worked across Germany, Turkey, and Belgium for over fifteen years, Karagöz has developed a directing style shaped by different cultural and production contexts, allowing him to handle large scale productions with clarity and precision. His work grounds realism in convincing imperfections, subtle surprises, and clear visual metaphors.
In 2025, he won a Gold Lion at Cannes and received the Special Jury Prize for Best Commercial Director at the Kristal Elma Awards. The same year, he was named Best Commercial Director at the Felis Awards, contributing to a career total of more than 130 awards.
Actively integrating artificial intelligence into his creative process, Karagöz uses AI as a tool for exploration and pre visualization, combining physical craft and emerging technology within a single cinematic language. Based in Hamburg, he builds controlled cinematic worlds where emotion, design, and storytelling intersect.
